Like many new mothers, I was constantly on the go and faced with the dilemma of where and how to nurse my baby. I longed to be able to nurse discreetly in social settings. I did not want to be banished to a bedroom, my Suburban or worse a public bathroom. All of the nursing covers available at the time were made of warm sleep inducing materials and were easily pulled off by my baby. After weeks of searching, I decided to create my own nursing cover. I knew I wanted something stylish, that didn’t announce I was nursing. I also wanted it to be light weight, breathable and washable. I came to the conclusion that the perfect solution was a beautiful scarf! Only, how to secure it? I played around and finally came up with a clever way to secure the scarf to my nursing bra strap without doing damage to either one. Then I realized how ingenious my idea was, that it truely was the perfect nursing cover. So I tucked it away and waited patiently to pursue marketing my nursing cover until my youngest started Kindergarten. I chose the name Baby O on the go…™ after a little saying I said to each of my boys when they were little. Whenever we were going somewhere, I'd always say "Let's go, Baby O!” I still say it sometimes to my youngest, who will always be my baby.
